Sabine Wehnert works as a researcher at the Georg Eckert Institute and coordinates the GEI Usability Lab.
She completed a BSc in international management at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU). In December 2017 she started working as a teacher and researcher in the faculty for databases and software engineering at the OVGU. While a researcher in the ‘Legal Horizon Scanning’ project she began work on her PhD thesis in a field of digital humanities and now studies legal text processing.
She joined the GEI in March 2020 and has expanded her research to include applications for curricula and textbooks. As part of the systematic monitoring of digital offerings, she coordinates the GEI Usability Lab and conducts various studies on the usability of GEI offerings.
