Peace 2.0: Social Media as a Space for Peace Education
International Symposium at the Georg Eckert Institute –30th and 31st July.
On the 30th and 31st July 2014 the inaugural Arnhold Symposium will take place at the Georg Eckert Institute (GEI). Experts from around the world will gather to discuss the potential of social media to act as an educational space for the development of peace. The central theme will be the role of the new digital “educational space” in the Middle East, Africa and South America. The Arnhold Symposium will conclude the tenure at the GEI of the first visiting professor for “Education and Development for sustainable peace”, endowed by the American Henry H. Arnhold.
