Johann Trupp has worked as a PhD researcher in the Media|Transformation department from October 2020 until June 2023 and is an associate at University of Oldenburg and also allied to the department. He is working on his thesis within the DFG research project EdTech 4.0, an analysis of changes in production and methods of dissemination in the field of educational media.
From 2014 to 2017 he studied for a bachelor’s degree in fine art and media studies and from 2017 to 2019 completed a master’s degree in media studies at the Braunschweig University of Art. His studies focussed on discourse analysis, disability studies and visual competence.
