Dr Nurunguli Mamuti

Nurunguli Mamuti works since May 2022 at the Department of Knowledge in Transition as a fellowship holder of Gerda Henkel foundation and conducts research on ethnic and cultural identity, diversity and representation in educational media.

After completing her PhD study in 2015 in applied linguistics, with a particular focus on Turkic languages, she has worked as a lecturer at the Minzu University of China. From 2017, she has worked for two years in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Haifa as a post-doctoral fellowship holder of Israel Council for Higher Education (VATAT). Her research focus includes exploring the linguistic peculiarities from ancient to modern Turkic languages and the social-linguistic aspects.
