D* is an environment for corpus linguistic analysis and interactive visualisation of digital text collections. This handout explains the user interfaces for a variety of tools that can be used in D* including ‘DiaCollo’, which is used for diachronic collocation analysis. It outlines the most important customisable parameters and provides examples of queries. The example cases use the GEI-Digital corpus, which contains over 5000 historical German-language textbooks, and demonstrates how they are pre-processed and indexed in addition to a number of special features.
