The special issue journal on everyday Jewish culture in Germany resulting from the joint project with the Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture - Simon Dubnow is now open access.

The GEI is running a number of fellowship programmes for researchers in 2024 that aim to advance educational media research. The deadline for applications is 30 September 2023.

‘Bildung und Demokratie’ is a new publication providing empirical perspectives on democracy education in kindergartens and schools, resulting from the joint project ‘Demokratiebildung in Deutschland’.

New material is available for years 9 and 10 on the 'Zwischentöne' (Nuances) platform that examines migration and integration in media and culture between the 1960s and 1980s.
